prerequisite: none

Systems Training in Engine Performance : STEP

TBA • Every Tuesday for 6 weeks • 6 to 9 pm
A 24-hour course for in-service technicians who need to expand their knowledge about emission control systems and equipment and how they relate to engine performance and fuel economy. Technicians are trained in cases of excessive emissions and the use of exhaust gas analysis as a diagnostic tool, with emphasis on combustion theory, exhaust gas recirculation, catalytic converters, air injection reaction systems and fuel evaporation systems.
prerequisite: FEET

Computer Automotive Performance System : CAPS

TBA • Every Tuesday for 8 weeks • 6 to 9 pm
This 24-hour course is designed to provide the essential knowledge that in-service technicians need today to diagnose and repair computerized electronic control systems. Emphasis is on sensors, actuators and fuel management.
prerequisite: STEPS

Fuel Injection System Training : FIST

TBA • Every Tuesday for 6 weeks • 6 to 9 pm
This 24-hour course combines the electronic and computer skills learned in the previous three ATTP courses to cover the theory, diagnostics and service procedures for today’s fuel delivery systems. Air, fuel and electronic management, with their major components, are emphasized.
prerequisite: FEET, STEP, CAPS
Systems Training Air Conditioning : STAC
