The best cheerleader the Automotive Technology & Energy Group has is Kathleen Lanning. Kathy describes her job as Bob’s “Gal Friday”. She does everything required of an office coordinator, but has an attitude that puts her above the rest.

“All you hear about today are job cuts, rising costs, and businesses closing. There are so many members of our group that can offer advice or successful new strategies to try. Maybe you’re losing in one area, but we can help you find savings in another,” she says. “Every small business owner is too busy, too rushed. That’s why people need to take advantage of what we have to offer. Taking that step toward becoming more successful is just a phone call away. We are here to help!” says Kathy.

Time away from the office is with sons Matthew, 15, and Jacob, 12. She “lives for her kids” as they say and loves every minute of it. School activities, as well as involvement at the Infant Church of Prague Catholic Church, play a major part in their lives right now.

She has loved her job for more than 14 years. Not many people can say that. Kathy supports and admires Bob Gliss in his endeavors as executive director. She also respects the board of directors and is genuinely concerned for every member in the organization, each one having their own unique quality.
